Still Serving in Defense of the Nation

Lacey Bradley-Storey

Ms. Lacey Bradley-Storey, who passed unexpectedly on March 6, 2014.  She joined the agency in July 2013 and was a member of the Defense Clandestine Service’s East Asian Division. 

Prior to joining DIA’s DCS East Asia family, Ms. Bradley-Storey worked in academia, teaching undergraduate courses on Chinese politics and governance while pursuing a doctoral degree in international relations at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.   She was the recipient of several academic awards including the prestigious Boren Fellowship.  In her constant pursuit of knowledge, she spent her spare time hiking, reading, researching, an planning her next foreign adventure.  Lacey will be remembered by her colleagues for her strong work ethic, smile, sense of humor, dedication to mission, and unparalleled baking abilities. 

Ms. Bradley-Storey is survived by her father, Michael Bradley of Maumelle, Arkansas; her sister, Brie Alford of Winston-Salem, NC; two nieces, Mackenzie Abigail Alford and Sloane Sachel Alford and one nephew, Jackson Bradley Alford.

 

The funeral service will be held at 1030 on 17 March 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211; 501-224-8300.  Flowers can be sent to the funeral home, while expressions of sympathy should be sent to the family home:  Michael Bradley, 59 Danube Dr. Maumelle, AR 72113.
