The newly appointed Defense Intelligence Agency Chief of Staff, Ms. Suzanne White was the Keynote Speaker at Defense Intel Alumni Association’s Fall Luncheon held on 15 October at the Fort Myer Officer’s Club. Prior to her appointment as Chief of Staff, Ms. White served as DIA’s Chief Financial Officer giving her wide-ranging experience that enabled her to skillfully meet the Agency’s substantive requirements. In her presentation, Ms. White focused primarily on the requirements of her new position and current issues and challenges facing DIA. Her remarks were well received by the membership and generated a robust question and answer period. She recognized the importance of the partnership with DIAA and identified some areas where she would like to have input from DIAA members. DIAA thanks Ms. White and members of the OCC Staff for their willingness to engage with DIAA at this annual fall event.

Ms. White became the Chief of Staff for the Defense Intelligence Agency on 11 August 2014. She is the third ranking officer in the Agency’s command element. Prior to this appointment, Ms. White was DIA’s Chief Financial Officer and the Director, DIA principle advisor on Intelligence Community financial and acquisition matters. Prior to that she served as the Director of the Military Intelligence Program for USD(I). Ms. White has a BA from Johns Hopkin University, and a MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. She has been given a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the timely and satisfactory accomplishment of Agencies current substantive requirements.
