Jim Danoy

Jim Danoy is a highly commended retired national-level intelligence officer with over 35+ years of experience in the Intelligence Community serving in the U.S. and overseas. Notably, as a DIA officer he served as a President’s Daily Brief (PDB) briefer to President Obama, the first non-CIA officer to serve in that role. He currently serves on the Defense Intel Alumni Association Board of Directors. Jim currently is an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University (GMU) Schar School of Policy and Government where he teaches a graduate-level course on intelligence and national security. He also is a Fellow at GMU's National Security Institute (NSI) at the Antonin Scalia Law School focusing on Global Security and Intelligence matters and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council.
