Jim Murphy is the recording secretary of the Defense Intel Alumni Association's Board of Directors. After two degrees at UVA and a stint as an Army linguist, his civilian career spanned 45 years as analyst, teacher, and contractor at FBI and for the Director of National Intelligence. Jim is a docent at the National Air and Space Museum at Dulles, where he has given tours to DIA analysts on the importance of aerial reconnaissance to intelligence.
